The Zo National Region Development Party[2] (Burmese: ဇိုတိုင်းရင်းသားဒေသဖွံ့ဖြိုးရေးပါတီ; ZNRDP), also known simply as the Zo Party, is a political party in Myanmar (Burma), founded in March 12, 2015.[1] Most of the party's supports came from the Zo people of Chin State.[1][3][4][5]

Party symbols[edit]

The party symbol features the head of buffalo, a prominent symbol of the Zo people. The Zo National Region Development Party flag and symbol were requested by the Zo people from Myanmar (Burma).

Leadership[edit]

On 12 March 2015, the party appointed Kham En Thang as temporary chairman and deputy chairman, and Let Suan Khai as Secretary-General.

Party members embrace the flag.

On 30 July 2015, the party members embraced the flag and took an oath to succeed their goals.

" Zo, (I was born with a Zo name, live by Zo name,
and I will die in the name of Zo. The Zo will never die.
Do not go against the Zo people and the land. LONG LIVE ZO AND THE LAND.
(God bless Zo Party; the Zo National Region Development Party.)"[6][7]
