Born Ralph Kenneth Uptegraft, in 1958, July 26 - 2015, December 15. Ralph had many different occupations and career goals before writing songs. Going into the Marine Corps at the age of 17 under order to rescue POW's he was shot in the immune system 3 years later severly injuring him. After having 3 daughters all with different women, Ralph spent his time exploring new locations to him, anaylizing Native culture. Years later Ralph wrote "Never Been to Spain" and eventually sold its licensing rights to Three Dog Night for $50,000, a decision he would later regret.
