Jeff Smith (born July 13, 1981) is a meteorologist for WABC-TV in New York City. He is the weather anchor for the weekend evening editions of Eyewitness News.
A native of Plymouth, Massachusetts, prior to joining WABC-TV in New York City, Smith was a meteorologist for WTEN-TV, the ABC affiliate in upstate New York. Prior to this he was a weather reporter for WOAY-TV in Oak Hill, West Virginia. In 2015, he married Dana Jones of Moorpark, California.
Education[edit]
He attended Cornell University, where he earned a B.S. in atmospheric science and also received the American Meteorological Society's Certified Broadcast Meteorologist designation.
